The tournament is based on the Terra Cotta Soldiers unearthed in Xian, China in the mid 1970's. ISKA World Champion and Film Fight Choreographer James Sang Lee has promoted the annual event over the past decade to bring together the best martial artists in weapons, forms, point sparring, continuous fighting, and grappling. Competitors vie for what has been called "the most unique prize ever given in all of sport martial arts".
